So below you will find a remix by the San Francisco based artist, memes (without a capital M). Above you will find a photograph by Katie Cooper from Manchester. She does far more than that Hipstamatic stuff, people like me snap and upload so check her out over at her flickr and to top it off - all of her photography is released under creative commons (nice!). (Well back too the music) It’s a remix of the track Torture originally by Edan and Percee P. Why do I rate it? It’s got funk man and not too mention, it’s yours to download for free.

I found out about this artist called patten (without a capital P) only today. Have I been deaf? Probably not far from the truth. I live in my little bubble, infact so much so Lady GaGa was already the world’s most famous popstar before I ever heard her name. I don’t know, is patten already massive? Well I think he should be. The track below is known as Blush Mosaic. It’s beautiful and it’s from patten’s album titled, GLAQJO XAACSSO out on the 26th of September via No Pain in Pop. This beautiful song comes presented by a beautiful video directed by Jane Eastlight.

So there’s been a pattern emerging today.. both artists refuse to have there names starting with a capital letter (as per grammatical norms). Is it because it looks cool, or a rebellion against grammar? It could simply be that caps lock doesn’t work on their keyboards. Fair enough.
This third fella, is not entirely fella at all, and to enforce todays pattern, he/she also starts her/his name without a capital letter. It’s leeDVD; a Warsaw based Polish duo who I believe are also more popularly known as Fuka Lata. At the time I first downloaded there album First I Love I couldn’t find anything else about this band on the net. That was sometime last year and the netlabel it was released on was birdsong (with a captial B) and it can still be downloaded from there for free. Infact all music on birdsong netlabel is released under creative commons. I like the idea of creative commons and I have also released some of my music under CC and will do so again in the future. The player below will stream the entire album, but make sure you download it in full quality from here.

Today I feel we should end on a note. One note that stretches out an entire track. “But it’s one note anybody could have wrote it, anybody could have done that.” “Yeah but guess who did write it,” Tenacious D.
